Good neighborhood resource

I find next-door to be a very valuable resource in terms of staying connected with my neighbors. The app works well for me, and Im very glad to have it on my phone, especially when Comcast is down yet again and I cant get to it on the computer. There is a lot of justified skepticism out there about the way some people behave on Nextdoor, which is pretty much the way they behave on the rest of the Internet, which is to say often badly, but I think thats mostly a reflection of failures of our society as a whole and not anything that this platform has caused.
