I find this to be the easiest way to keep up with what is going on around Leland! Also a great source of services available!

Great app. Awesome way to stay informed of what is going on in your neighborhood. While each neighborhood is unique, my neighbors post crime information so we know when to be extra vigilant when burglars are canvassing our area; anything affecting local roads commutes; bird watching sightings and what feeders work without feeding just squirrels; community events, yard sales; utility issues; etc.

App is great!

Would like it if I could choose to see new posts first, rather than have posts bumped back to the top every time someone replies. Otherwise I think this is a fantastic idea!

I absolutely LOVE Nextdoor. My only complaint is that I wish you could make the map really small and still see the green, orange, and red dots showing you who has signed up and who hasnt. In addition, I wish it was compatible with iPad Pro. I also wish you could view it in a landscape version. Those are the only two reasons I would not give it 5 stars.

I love next door! It can get overwhelming after a while with the amount of posts, but it is integral in connecting with neighbors and sharing tips and tricks. I had an attempted break in at my house and could post about it and warn people to keep an eye out moving forward. People are very supportive and caring on the site. Great way to improve your neighborhood, make friends, etc.

Love that I finally know some of my neighbors. Terrific for finding lost animals, getting rid of usable items and buying used item. I feel safer already. Will be invaluable in case of a disaster.

This works because so many of my neighbors have joined. Weve exchanged items and neighborhood news/information, found lost animals, and passed around recommendations. Its a good feeling to connect with those around me I might not meet otherwise, and to know there are so many decent people in my hood. As with any app, there are details you might change. At first I was getting way to many emails. I opted out of all of them, downloaded the app for my phone, and used settings so that I only get a silent badge as notification of activity. You can even opt out of that if you want, and only check it when you feel like it.

Really?? Who thinks its a good idea to verify on this free app using my credit card, phone number, or social security number Ill pass for that reason alone

Im really enjoying this app. Love getting updates/heads up on whats happening in my neighborhood. Everything from lost/ found dog alerts to safety & scam alerts. Very valuable app. We did have a few who felt it was their duty to point out everyones faults but finally seemed to be weeded out. Our current moderator(s) come across as being a little over zealous in the constant reminder to adhere to the guidelines. Then Again we are not seeing the neighborhood bashers. All in all I do like it.

I have really enjoyed using the next-door app, and refer lots of people. It has helped people get to know their neighbors, and makes new people feel more welcome. People really like asking neighbors for referrals for work they need done on their homes. I just wish the search feature was more robust. Its hard to find an old post if you dont remember the posters name.

Title says it all! Wish we could pick other neighborhoods around the country just to check out what was going on. Be nice to ask potential new Nextdoor Neighbors what they though of their neighborhood if you were thinking about moving .

Can be extremely helpful and can help build a community. Also can be abused without an active lead.

This app is marvelous ,you can keep up with everything in your neighbour hood plus all the things for sale and many referrals share with your neighbors
